Thomas M. Messersmith, PhD

Historian. Researcher. Educator.

My experience

My name is Thomas Messersmith, and I am a historian by training. I have worked in both higher education, high school education, and as a researcher for private companies. I specialize in the history of Religion and Politics, particularly in Europe, but I also have expertise in researching true crime for podcasts. Most recently, I have been Head Researcher for Monday Archives, primarily doing research for Bailey Sarian's award-winning "Murder, Mystery, and Makeup," and "Dark History," series.
